司馬燕於四年前因癌病逝世，雖然丈夫吳忠義（Togi）在司馬燕逝世未夠一年已另結新歡Beth，更在社交平台高調晒與新歡的甜蜜照，並於峇里舉行婚禮，但吳忠義並無忘記亡妻，不時貼上亡妻的生前照片，並曾留言﹕「Moving on doesn't mean forget（前進不代表忘記）」。

昨日（10日）為司馬燕的忌日，吳忠義就在社交網站上載一張相，是四年前於3月15日司馬燕舉行生日派對的請柬，並留言：「The sun is bright and there is a peaceful light breeze. Seeing the beauty , the positives and the accomplishment：your spirit lives on. Thank you！Parenting continues very complicated and hard.（陽光明微和寧靜的微風。看着你的美麗、積極和成就，你的精神依然存在。謝謝你！育兒仍非常複雜和困難。」至於太太Beth也留言：「May she rest in peace continue to party on.（願她安息。）」
